Hazelnut Cookie

 1 cup plain flour
 2 tablespoons sugar
 90g ground hazelnuts
 125g unsalted butter
 1 egg yolk
 1 1/2 tablespoons filtered water

Preheat oven to 169 degrees C, lightly grease and paper line bake trays.

In mixing bowl add sifted flour, sugar and hazelnuts, rub in butter, mix in egg yolk and water, pressing the mix together, knead on lightly floured work surface with hands until smooth, then into a balls, and cookie shape, place on baking tray leaving spaces in between.

Bake for 15 mins, or until lightly golden. Cool on trays.
